even an asian group sings about it. a movie has appeared about it.

is love really about gender? do we stick within our known and accepted norms of love rather than just loving for its own sake?

what if the only person that makes you feel like you DESERVE TO LIVE happens to be of the same sex? what is love?

dictionary.com says love is 'a feeling of intense desire and attraction toward a person with whom one is disposed to make a pair; the emotion of sex and romance.'

it sure doesnt say anything about gender.

i have loved members of both sexes. and i remember this clearly, labels are for clothes and files, not people. love does not have set boundaries or specific areas. love just is.

then again, i don't proclaim myself t be some love guru. but what i know is, tonight i was moved enough t recognise love for what it really is, and what people have forgotten its about. i am sure people have heard/read colin&kero and nicky&chris in recent times. yes, they are the local version o jack&ennis. but that's besides the point.

check out the tagboards. they're filled w insults and encouragement. the latter is of cos, welcomed. but what is shocking, are the insults.

do we, maybe, see in them, an envious desire t share in their audacious emotional bond? their devil-may-care attitude?

it is never a waste, when it comes t a recognition that something so strong, is shared and realised w another party. gender should never be an issue. the sad word in this sentence is, should.
